Fairfield Brewery is the nefarious doings of a man with long hair, a beard and ten years' experience in real ale cellar management in award winning pubs in the northwest of England. The project's aim is to create 3, maybe 4 balanced, palatable beers that everyone will love, and to spend the rest of the time making absolute nonsense on a whim. In this regard, suggestions are always welcome, and any particularly exciting ideas win a few bottles of the finished article! Wines are also produced, and one of the core principles of the project is to forage as many of the raw materials for the beverages as possible from the rather beautiful local landscape.
