So pleased we found it at last! They have been tormenting me for weeks! Landing in various fields, flying overhead every day and morning and night I could here them calling. But today I found the nest and these 2 little beauties are inside. Now to look after these 2 precious little eggs. Dis you know these birds can live for between 20 to 30yrs and may only suscessfully fledge just a few chicks in that time. Thankfully they are in a field we have no stock in and so hopefully have a good chance of fledging....just mowing is now going to have to be delayed for at least 5wks, as it takes this long for them to be able to fly and they are yet to hatch! 🥚

Due to a cancellation, we have availability for a weekend Stay Friday 5th June - Sun 7th June.

What a busy, fun weekend all the competitors from Bowland TREC Group and other memebers of TREC GB had here at Rawlinshaw last weekend.
What well behaved horses you all have😀 Loved seeing them all coralled and riding around the obstacle fields and learning all about the ins and outs of the competition and trec.
Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who competed and thank you for leaving everything all tidy.
Well done to all those helping and organising - so many volunteers needed to put on a competition like this! Well done also to Helen Wain, Ailsa Gibson and Polly too. So much work!

Well last week we decided we would go somewhere different - near Newcastle, to give Eni some life experience 🐎
Thank you Clive Johnson Horsemanship for having us and for helping train Eni (and Koda got to play too).
A special thanks to Clive Johnson , Clare Welsh and Tony for sharing their home and looking after us.and Jez and I even got a bit of spare time together.
Eni did really well, taking it all in her baby strides and I feel she has great potential, which is so exciting 😀
If you want help with horsemanship or with a camp to help your horse with the scary world, then I recommend contacting Clive.
And thank you for letting me ride your horses too.

"Absolutely fantastic holiday with my friends and our horses. Great facilities, accommodation and the location couldn't be better. Beautiful countryside for riding or walking. Local pub an easy walk/ride with great food. Highly recommend."
