🚨🚨 A £10 million fund to support the mental health and wellbeing of farmers is due to be scrapped next month. ❌

The fund was always due to close in March 2025, however the Government has faced criticism in its decision not to extend the support at such a difficult time for the industry.

No farmers. No food. No future. 🚜🚨

Without British farmers, we lose our countryside, food security, and quality produce. Instead, we'd face higher food miles and lower-quality imports. In a crisis, we'd have no independence or reliable food supply. This affects EVERYONE.

Our hardworking farmers have been ignored for years, pushed to the edge, and pushed out. The time is now to change that.

Thank a farmer. Give us a voice. Spread the word.

The mere presence of an unknown dog can be stressful for sheep. πŸ‘

Just the sight or sound of a dog can cause a pregnant ewe to miscarry her lambs, and serious injuries can occur when sheep flee in panic.

Make dog walks stress free for you, sheep and farmers by:
πŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί Keeping dogs on a lead and under control
🏷 Following signage and keeping your distance from livestock
↩ Choosing a different route that avoids sheep if you think your dog may want to chase

What makes hedges so brilliant?

🐦 Hedgerows are great for biodiversity – they provide food, shelter, habitat and vital corridors for a huge range of wildlife.

🏑 Hedges help our towns and cities breathe by improving air quality and reducing noise pollution in built-up areas.

πŸ‘ Hedges provide shelter and shade for stock animals, support the amazing pollinators we need for crop production, improve soil health and much more!

πŸƒ They improve our wellbeing – they give us birdsong, blossoms and berries, add richness to our lives and help us feel better.
