From festival camping vibes to birthday celebrations, it’s been all go as the children’s summer holidays begin to draw to a close… and I won’t lie, I’m just a little bit excited that we’ll be back to a routine! 🤣🎉

This week’s Thermomix menu has been keeping up with the chaos:

🌮 Fajitas with homemade guacamole
🧁 Silky buttercream icing (because every birthday deserves cake!)
❄️ Fluffy icing sugar in seconds
🍐 Butterscotch panna cotta with pear sorbet – a dessert that feels a little bit fancy without the fuss.

Whether it’s quick family dinners, celebration bakes or impressive desserts, my Thermomix has been working just as hard as I have… and thankfully, with a lot less washing up! 😄

What a weekend! 🎶🏕️💚

We spent the weekend at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, and honestly… what an incredible experience! The whole family had an absolute blast. If you’ve never been before, I’d definitely recommend adding it to your “must-do” list. 🎪✨

We treated ourselves to a pre-pitched glamping tent, which made life so much easier… and yes, before anyone asks… the Thermomix came too! 😂

Before we left, I made a big batch of veggie chilli, then simply used the TM7 to gently reheat it at the festival. It also earned its keep by sautéing onions and warming the frankfurters for our hot dogs. 🌭

I was all set to whip up a fresh vegetable soup too, but the kids quickly reminded me we were at a festival and voted for pizza instead… and to be fair, they were probably right! 🍕😄

It’s just another reminder that a Thermomix isn’t just for the kitchen at home. Whether you’re camping, glamping, caravanning or heading away for the weekend, it’s the perfect little sous chef to make mealtimes simple, with less fuss, less washing up and more time to enjoy making memories. ❤️

I’ve been to a few events recently where people have asked me, “But does it slow cook!?” And the answer is “yes, of course it does 🤩”

Tonight’s dinner was a delicious combination of slow cooked chicken thighs in a sublime roasted red pepper and tomato sauce which was then used to enhance the flavour of the rice as it cooked.

This is why I love my Thermomix… ❤️

Tonight’s creamy chicken pasta was another reminder of just how much work this little machine does for me.

Yes, I cut the chicken into chunks, halved the onions and peeled the garlic… but after that? My TM7 took over.

✨ It weighed every ingredient.
✨ It chopped everything to perfection.
✨ It sautéed.
✨ It cooked the sauce.
✨ It cooked the pasta.
✨ It stirred everything together.

And when dinner was served, here’s what I had used…

✔️ One mixing bowl.
✔️ One knife.
✔️ One chopping board.
✔️ One spatula.

That’s it.

No pile of pans.
No colander.
No wooden spoons.
No measuring jugs.
No endless washing up afterwards.

Just a delicious, homemade dinner with minimal effort and maximum flavour.

For me, the Thermomix isn’t about replacing cooking—it’s about replacing the chaos that usually comes with it. Less mess, less stress, and more time to actually enjoy the evening with the family. ❤️

Who else dreams of a kitchen where the washing-up fairy isn’t needed quite so often? 😄🍝

And today, Mary and I are at the Largs Classic Car Show… oh, we do get around a bit! 😂🚗

The weather might be a little damp, but thankfully it’s still lovely and mild - and we’re here ready to chat all things Thermomix! 💚

☀️ Linguine with Salmon & Herbs ☀️

Nothing says summer quite like a light, fresh dinner enjoyed al fresco in the evening sunshine. 🌿🐟

Tonight’s dinner was Linguine with Salmon & Herbs, and even though I was missing a few of the original ingredients, the TM7 made adapting the recipe an absolute breeze… and it was still incredibly delicious! 💚

My swaps:
• Smoked salmon ➡️ Fresh salmon (steamed in the Varoma)
• Pouring cream ➡️ Cream cheese
• Linguine ➡️ Spaghetti

💡 Top Tip:
I steamed 4 salmon fillets in the Varoma while the pasta water was programmed to come to the boil, then simply left them cooking while the spaghetti did its thing. One machine, minimal fuss, and dinner on the table with hardly any hands-on time. 🙌

That’s one of the things I love most about the Thermomix—it gives you the confidence to use what you already have without compromising on flavour.
