All of our current holiday cottage guests are here for the “sheepdog olympics” 4 miles south of here. Our guests have travelled from as far as Canada for this incredible weekend, and competitors with their dogs have come from over 30 countries around the world including Japan, Brazil and the US.

Open to the general public - tickets available online. The greatest sheepdog show on earth in the home of the greatest sheepdogs - the Border collie.

Tour of the little Secret Flower Field at Wild Hill - so many jewel-box blooms to find in here. We can’t get over the colours, they are a shot of joy as the summer rounds off.

Open for picking this weekend - 28th to 31st August. Booking essential. We have also just opened up an extra weekend of sessions - 4th to 6th September.

Urgent question! Should we open dates for one further weekend? There are a few tickets left for this weekend - Friday 28th, Saturday 29th, bank holiday Monday 31st. The flowers are so colourful and we’re sure they will still be in full bloom for one more weekend - Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th. Good idea?
