Connell Farming & Lauder Livestock Lauder Pedigrees is 2 miles out of Lauder at Wanton Walls Farm. Lauder pedigrees is home to Pedigree Texel sheep and Limousin cattle.

The Texels were founded in 1990, with Limousins after in 2009 both by Father and son John and Craig Connell. Wanton Walls is a 500 acre farm, we run around, 130 pedigree texels ewes, and around 30 pedigree Limousin cattle, with the vision of building our herd up to around 60 - 70 cows. Every year we sell around 50 - 60 shearling rams, with the best pick going to kelso ram sales, and the rest betwe

en stirling, lanark and st boswells marts. Our Limousin herd was started in 2009 with 8 cows from two different dispersal sales, since then we have built up to around 30 cows. We sell bulls both at home privately and also at UA marts at stirling bull sales. The Farm also grows around 300 acres of cereals, and offers a contracting service to local Farms.

Lead shearling for Kelso, was kept and used as a lamb for the shearling job.

He’s by 10k overburns gladiator, out of our best milnbank Bacardi ewe. Lot 1829 Ring 7.

4 shearlings. 4 lambs forward

All are blue tounge vaccinated. 👌🤩
