🦙💚 SIX MESSAGES OF HOPE. SIX ROUTES TO SUPPORT. ONE COMMUNITY PROJECT. 💚🦙

Something very special is taking shape here at Alpacas & Friends CIC!

Today we’re excited to share the very first engraved oak coasters from our new community wellbeing project. ❤️

We believe that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference.

Imagine sitting in your local café or pub, having a cup of tea or coffee, and noticing a little message on your coaster that says:

✨ “You make the world brighter just by being in it.” ✨

A few simple words that might be exactly what someone needs to hear that day.

But there’s more to these coasters than just a positive message.

💚 On the reverse of each coaster will be information and a QR code signposting people towards organisations offering help and support.

We’re developing a collection of six different designs, highlighting services such as Samaritans, Shout, Childline, NHS mental health support, EDAN Lincs and Alpacas & Friends.

We’re delighted that Samaritans have already responded positively, confirming they’re happy for us to signpost people to their service and providing their preferred wording.

🌿 Our aim is to produce and distribute 500 wellbeing coasters FREE to participating pubs, cafés and community venues across Gainsborough.

We want to make information about mental health and wellbeing support more visible, accessible and part of everyday life.

Because you never know what someone sitting at the next table might be going through.

🦙 We’re also planning something else…

We’re developing a beautiful gift set of six engraved oak coasters, complete with a wooden holder, which we hope to make available to purchase.

Our plan is that every gift set sold will help fund two additional coasters to be distributed free within our community.

That means your purchase won’t just bring a little positivity into your home — it will help us share that positivity with others. 💚

We’re currently developing the project, speaking with support organisations and exploring funding opportunities to help us make this happen.

A big shout out to this special little girl, this is Emelia our daughter she’s only 7 years old and comes to all our events with us throughout the school holidays, she helps take care of her animals, works extremely hard and never moans about it, the amount of customers that tell us how good she is with them, how she helps them, makes them feel comfortable and how knowledgeable she is, make me incredibly proud of her, so I feel this needs to be recognised and appreciate all Emelias super hard work with her animals. ❤️ thank you for everyone’s kind comments ❤️

Another day spent messinghamlakes today with our alpacas we are back Tuesday 11th get booked on guys it’s a bargain all bookings are made through messingham lakes.
