We are delighted to once again welcome the Launceston Royal British Legion to the store. They will be here until Saturday 7th November with lots of poppies, pin badges and other Remembrance Day merchandise to help raise funds for such a worthwhile cause. Please stop and say hello & support them if you can.

You might have noticed that our charity book stall is currently raising funds for League of Friends of Launceston Hospital & Community. Our aim is to raise enough for the purchase of a new air mattress for the hospital.

📚 Thank you, Tesco's Community Champion in the Launceston Store 📚

We're delighted to share that our local Tesco store has been running a book stall in support of our charity, and today we received a wonderful donation of £320 from them!

The store's aim is to raise enough to buy an air mattress for the hospital, which costs in the region of £1,500. Every book sold brings us closer to that goal.

How you can help:
📖 Got any books you no longer need? We'd especially love novels! Just pop them into Tesco next time you're shopping.
🛒 While you're there, have a browse and buy a book in return.

Every donation and every purchase makes a real difference to patients in our hospital.

A huge thank you to everyone at Tesco and to all of you for your continued support. 💙

A massive ‘well done’ to our colleague, Kate, for completing the Derriford Abseil 2026 for the Acute Stroke & Neurology ward 👏👏

During the school summer holidays, as well as having free fruit for kids available in store, we also donated apples to Launceston Food bank and Love Your Neighbour, Launceston UK community larder.
Lifton Community Academy, St Stephens Community Academy & St Catherine's C of E School and Nursery all ran summer activity clubs, so we provided them with some apples too. 🍎🍏🍎🍏
