Last night, we had a great visit by the group from Scotmid Co-operative ! We were chuffed to be their first supplier visit - we didn't get all of you in the photo but our head brewer Steve loved showing you the brewery and some of our beers 🍻 Since supplying Scotmid Co-ops with our alcohol free beers around Scotland, they've been great to work with!

Join our team! We're looking for an Administrator and book keeper (training provided)

Up to 25 hours per week with flexible working

The role:
- Managing customer emails, phone calls and social media messages
- Basic book keeping
- Submitting monthly beer duty returns
- Order fulfillment
- Coordinating non-local deliveries
- Serving customers in the onsite shop (off-sales)

Your experience:
We're looking for somebody who is highly organised and great at communicating. Full training will be provided, but you should be comfortable with computer systems and learning new processes. Book keeping experience is desirable but not essential.

About us:
Burnside brewery has recently moved to a new site just outside Fordoun, Aberdeenshire, and is expanding. Supporting our team is highly important to us and we are keen for the role to evolve with the candidate's skills and business needs. We value diversity and welcome all applications. Flexible hours will be available to the right candidate within the core working hours of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

One of the highlights of setting up our new brewery was getting to work with designer Banjo Beale! We are huge fans - Banjo has worked with businesses across the Hebrides and beyond, is featured on a number of TV shows including Scotland's Home of the Year, Designing the Hebrides and now Banjo and Ro's Grand Island Hotel. We absolutely love the pieces he chose for us and the exciting space our shop has turned out to be! It's not open yet but we can't wait to show it off when it is 🍻🍻🍻

Our two new seasonals went out to our beer club last week and now they're up on the website for you to try! We've got Tidal Wave, 5.0% NE IPA and Tide Pool, 6.3% Belgian Blonde. Tidal Wave will give you a big hit of juicy hops, while Tide Pool is a delicious classic. The tides are turning and it's time for that spring refresh:
