We didn’t think our alcohol free beer would become our bestseller...

We were used to brewing beers from crisp lagers to 13% barrel-aged stouts. Then we brewed our first alcohol free beer for when we couldn’t have alcohol - whether it was driving, working, sports or just having to get up early, we still wanted the taste of real beer. Using our brewing know-how and the finest Scottish mountain water, we accidentally created a beer that people couldn’t get enough of - a delicious taste and authentic mouthfeel with no alcohol to hold you back.

After 8 years in Laurencekirk, we are closing… because we are finally opening the shop at our new site on 3rd September!

The new site is located just outside of Laurencekirk and the old one is being handed back to the council. Starting on 3rd September we will be open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM. The site can be a little tricky to find, but the views are worth it! We will be updating our google profile with the exact pin, but you can also use the what 3 words address: https://w3w.co/assess.shameless.hobby

The site has a large Steading at the front, and our brewery is at the back with a large 6m window where you can see the tanks inside (and you can park right outside of them).

We are excited for you to come along and see what our new home looks like!

Beyond excited to have received a Great Taste award for our Alcohol Free Lager - Wayfinder! Great Taste is one of the most prestigious awards you can receive in food & drink. Here is what the judges had to say:
“A light straw coloured lager with a fresh nose that seems true to lager style. The flavour has a citrus hoppiness that suggests a well made beer. There is also a malty presence that gives a good body to this moreish, tasty, alcohol free blonde lager.”
🤩🎉

That makes both of our alcohol free beers (Right to Roam IPA and Wayfinder Lager) Great Taste awards winners. We could not be more pleased!

8 years ago we got the keys to the old brewery site! It's been a huge journey since then. Now we've mostly moved into our new site (except for our on-site shop), with its larger capacity. We've grown our team, won international awards and sent beer around the UK and beyond. We've faced plenty of challenges as we've grown, especially as we move sites, but been overwhelmed by the support and understanding from you all. It's bittersweet as we empty out our old brewery site - mostly we can't believe how far we've come!

Last night, we had a great visit by the group from Scotmid Co-operative ! We were chuffed to be their first supplier visit - we didn't get all of you in the photo but our head brewer Steve loved showing you the brewery and some of our beers 🍻 Since supplying Scotmid Co-ops with our alcohol free beers around Scotland, they've been great to work with!
