🪅Happy Michaelmas Day🪅
Legend has it that Archangel Michael 👼 defeated the then Angel Lucifer in a huge battle and banished him from Heaven. That’s when Lucifer became a Fallen Angel 😈 and when he landed in Hell, he landed in a thorny Blackberry bush. This made him so mad that he stomped, spat and wee’d on the bush and cursed its fruit , so don’t eat Blackberries after 29th September.

You can, however, buy our frozen Blackberry fruit purée from Boiron to see you through the winter months 😉

One of our most popular Autumn veggies is waiting for you to lay claim to his throne. The Crown Prince squash was developed in New Zealand……who knew 🤷🏻‍♀️They are believed to be a relative of the tasty Kabocha squash. They quickly spread to Europe, especially the UK, where they became a firm favourite.
