On now at the Prince of Wales, Ledbury is our Phoenix Porter. Brewed with Phoenix hop that are grown by Ali and Richard Capper at Stocks Farm in Suckley. The beers uses 7 different grains to get a complex flavour that we want from our porters. Sent out to the pubs in a cask made 5 miles from the brewery.

Ah, the smell of Roast Beef in the pub!!!

Let's get another Sunday guest beer on that will compliment it! This is a 4.5% porter from Ledbury Real Ales called Phoenix. Great notes of coffee with a smooth bitter finish.

Some interesting stats on the real ales sales from the Prince of Wales, Ledbury . Amazing to see our Ledbury Bitter as the best selling cask ale over the full year of 2025. The support for this locally made beer from locally grown hops is wonderful to see. Thank you for all your support. We very much appreciate all you do for us.

Our 2025 draught sales stats are in!

What a great year for beer, thanks to everyone who came in.

We were able to offer you a total of 225 different draught beers and ciders during 2025. These came from a total of 90 different great breweries and cider makers.

Cask sales were still the majority of our sales. Ledbury Real Ales with their Bitter was the most popular beer making up 29% of all our cask sales. Although out other two regular beers, Otter Brewery Amber and Butcombe Gold put up some close competition. Wye Valley Brewery was our most prolific brewery showcasing 25 different beers during 2025.

Our most popular lager? Estrella Damm won closly followed by 1985. Let's see what 2026 brings with The Original Budweiser Budvar now available regularly.

Cider had a great year with over 28 cider makers showcased on our traditional still lines. Our most popular cider overall was Robinsons Cider on the sparkling lines and new entrant Wilce's Cider on the still lines put up a good performance after Westons Cider delisted their Cloudy and British Vintage still versons. Keep an eye out for developments in 2026 in that direction!

Here's to another great year in 2026. Government and Council policies are going to make it challanging for us all but we'll try to keep offering you all what you seem to enjoy!
