Shropshire Smallholders Group is a non-profit making organisation. We provide members with information and mutual support in all aspects of smallholding including animal husbandry, growing fruit & vegetables and general smallholding interests. Our members keep a variety of livestock including chickens, geese, turkeys, sheep, goats, pigs and alpaca. Many grow fruit and vegetables, some make cheese

or spin wool and make clothes from it. Some members simply aspire to owning a smallholding, but have not achieved their dream yet. You can learn from our members and from the expert speakers at our monthly meetings at Leebotwood village hall (SY6 6NB just off the A49) where we meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm, except during the summer when we may have a farm visit or a trip to some other place of interest. There is no need to pre book for meetings but there will be a small small to non-members, see further down. You can join as an individual or as a holding – a bit like family membership, if you would like to join the Shropshire Smallholders Group please contact: Mel Gregory or Margaret Heritage via Email or Telephone: 01588 640538
