As summer begins to give way to autumn, join us at Hovingham Village Market this Saturday 5th September, for seasonal produce, artisan food, handmade crafts, jewellery, art and more.

This month we have Shed Shop at the Timber Yard launching their Pumpkin Pie range of Soy Wax candles, melts & more, Wass Farm Charcuterie with some award-winning products, and gluten-free goodies from Off the Wheaten Path.

There will be a total of 50 stalls, as well as this month's charity stall Malton & Norton Fairtrade Group. We also welcome our first Young Enterprise Award trader, Marie Lau, who will be displaying her artwork on the day. Did you know? Hovingham Village Hall has secure bike racks, a handy tool station for quick fixes, and a free e-bike charging point ready to help get you all the way back home. It would be great to see visitors arriving sustainably & stress-free.

Friday afternoon reflection on the week

You may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet on social media this week… and do you know what? It’s actually been rather nice! ❤️

August is a 5-week month, which means our markets have fallen a little differently this month, and we had the rare treat of a weekend with "no market to get ready for"

So instead of rushing around taking photos, writing posts and packing the van, we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting our "marmalades restocked" 🍊

And the good news is… "they’re all back and available to order online"
