This is a friendly message to all our existing customers and new customers

❄️🥶Today is the first time this winter things have began to freeze, with the weather expected to reach the minuses this week we have some helpful advice for you, that might be able to get your heating back up and running for you or an elderly relative. 🥶❄️

If your boiler has broken down this morning it will most likely be due to a frozen condensate. Before paying anybody to come out and have a look at the problem, boil a kettle and pour it on the condensate pipe outside as this will unfreeze the pipe. If you’re not sure which pipe is the condensate pipe, it will be the only plastic pipe that runs from the boiler to the outside, and then to a drain or soil stack. The photo below should help, failing that, we will be more than happy to guide you through this over the phone with no charge.
