Raffle and Tournament

On Saturday we are gonna be raffling off a load of stuff out of the taproom. I’ll put a list up of prizes to be won in the next couple days but there will be everything from Bernard The Bathroom Spider all the way to the Emotional Support Axe. If you want the chance to win a part or DMC history then you can buy raffle tickets for £5 each at the taproom from wednesday onwards. The Draw will be on Saturday night.

Street Fighter II Tournament - So, I don’t have space at home to take it and I don’t want it to go to auction through the liquidators. So, it must be won !! But victory has to be earned. £10 tournament entry fee. work your way through elimination. Winner takes home the arcade machine. if you want to enter the tournament then either message me on whatsapp, on FB messenger or on Insta. Entry closes by 6pm saturday, then the matches will be arranged and tournament starts at 8pm in the taproom. best of 3 rounds will progress you to the next stage.

There is only one stipulation......I reserve the right to enter the tournament as well. I’m not interested in the prize. I just want to be acknowledged as the Street Fighter II GOAT 🐐

Tonight we have the awesome Helve® and Tumanduumband playing under the arches. HEAVY RIFFS !!! SLUDGE !!’ SATATNIC !!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

And we will be attempting an open mic freestyle doom / metal jam as well, could be s**t but most likely will be epic

So, due to a bit of last minute re-arranging and things. Given it’s the last ever live gig at DMC Brewery this Friday we’re gonna try something a little different. We’ve still got the amazing Helve and Tumanduumband playing BUT instead of an opening act we’re gonna put it out to the floor and try and have an open mic freestyle jam session……OF DOOM !!!!
We’ll provide guitars and bass, if you want to drum then bring down your own smashables. But it would be awesome to get an impromptu sludgy, heavy, fuzzy, stoned, power psychedelic satanic jam going on.

It might not work, it might be s**t. Or it might be epic !! We’re be encouraging the bands already playing to get involved, we’ll get Gez involved in bass and / or vocals. So feel free to come down to the show and join in the last live music performance that will ever happen at DMC and make a bit of history.

Please join us in wishing our absolute unsung hero of DMC Brewery a massive happy birthday !!! Ele is co-founder, co director, architect of flavour and head brewer. Without Ele there would never have been a DMC. She is responsible for putting alcoholic Ginger beer back on the map in this country. we all owe her a debt of gratitude for it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELE, WE LOVE YOU !!

RIGHT !!! We didn’t think we were gonna be able to do it. We didn’t think it’d be possible given what’s going on. But DAMN IT we’re still gonna do it anyway !!
DMC will be pouring at NCBF on Friday and Saturday. Nottingham is our second home. It has embraced alcoholic Ginger beer into its warm bosom.
We’ve made so many new friends, collabed with more brewery’s and done more beer festivals there than anywhere else
So come say hi at the festival for big hugs and Ginger beer. We will also will be pouring two brands new Ginger beers never tried before. And one of them might just be an imperial 😆

This Saturday we celebrate our final karaoke night at DMC. if there was ever a time to head down and belt out a banger on the mic then this is it.
Hosted by the amazing Jonny Arey, he has every song you could imagine at his fingertips.
So head down for one last song, and as many times as you like. Starts at 7pm.

So here’s the post nobody wants but everyone needs.
DMC Brewery will be closing its doors as of July 13th and will cease to trade as a business.

I will do more videos as the weeks follow to say what’s going on and keep everyone up to date with stuff but for now this is just putting it out there that as a business we are finishing.

Thankyou to every single person that has supported us in the last 6 years. We wouldn’t have got this far without you. It’s you that helped put Ginger Beer back on the map (Ginger flavoured lager, not so much)

We’d love to see as many of you down at the taproom as possible before we go ###

It’s the Bank Holiday Weekend !! It’s sunny as hell. It’s Scientifically proven that authentic alcoholic ginger beer quenches your thirst in this heat more than ginger flavoured lager…….

Anyhoooo we will be open from 2pm with plenty of space to sit outside in the sun and listen to major chill step vibes, play some games or just soak up the sun.
And we are happy to stay open extra late tonight if everyone’s feeling the vibe with a bank holiday Monday tomorrow.
We’ll see you at the bar
