On Sunday the 20th September at 10am Jenny and a group of others will be running/walking 15km in memory of Arron. From the farm, up to the Sun inn where he liked to stop for a drink after walking the dogs.
Nothing will bring him back, but if we can help one person in his memory we will. There charity is Andys Man Club, we don’t really use this page for donations etc but figured as he had so many people who loved him we would like to give them the opportunity to donate in his memory to help others.
It’s a hard route but they are determined.
A like, a share is just as valued as a donation.
Thankyou for taking the time to read ❤️

Arron… tears roll down my face as I write this.
Over the weekend, we lost Arron, and I still can't quite believe I'm writing those words.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Arron was lucky. Whether it was his wicked sense of humour, his ability to make light of any situation, or the way he could make you smile even on your worst day, he was simply one of the best people you could ever meet.
Arron arrived at the farm over 10 years ago as a young, shall we say, wild boy. He started out gardening for our cousin Marcus before moving on to work alongside Cameron and becoming a huge part of the farm. Over the years, he became so much more than a colleague. He became part of our lives, part of our family.
To say he was loved by everyone who knew him doesn't feel enough. He was the kind of person people were naturally drawn to. Loyal, hardworking, funny, caring, and always there when you needed him.
He loved his dogs, his family…and horses!
Even after the unfortunate events involving Lucy a horse Jenny and Arron took to breaking in.
If you know, you know. Let's just say both Jenny and Arron ended up eating sand that day.
Anyone who knew Arron will remember the little things too. His morning mocha was non-negotiable, and he was rarely ever seen without a v**e in his hand. Those small everyday things seem so insignificant until they're gone, and now they're some of the memories we'll treasure most.

When life felt heavy, he somehow knew exactly what to say. When things were going wrong, he could make you laugh. When you felt lost, he helped you find your way again.
I don't know what life looks like from here as we try to navigate a world without him in it, but I do know this: Arron will never be forgotten.
He will live on in every corner of this farm and in the hearts of everyone who loved him, especially two little girls who absolutely adored him — Emelia and his niece, Lillie.

To Emelia, Arron was her world. She would run to whichever end of the farm he happened to be working on just to find him. The love, support, and affection he gave to both Jenny and Emelia over the years is impossible to measure. Their lives will never ever be the same without him.

And then there was Lillie. He adored her. He was endlessly proud of her and would do absolutely anything for her. If he ever took Lillie and Emelia out together, he didn't stand a chance. They wrapped him around their little fingers and successfully rinsed him every time — and he loved every second of it.
Anyone who knew Arron knew about his girls. He spoke about them constantly, and the love he had for them shone through in everything he did.
I hope and pray that wherever he is now, he's found my Auntie Barbara. I'm sure she'll be pleased to see the only gardener she ever truly trusted, although she'll undoubtedly have a list of jobs waiting for him and give him a proper bollocking for arriving far too soon.
Arron, I hope you knew just how loved you were.
You weren't just a work colleague.
You weren't just a friend.
You were family.
The farm won't be the same without hearing your laugh, seeing you walking around with a v**e in one hand and a mocha in the other, or knowing that somehow everything would be alright because Arron was here.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the loyalty, and the love.
Goodnight, Arron.
You will be missed beyond words, loved beyond measure, and remembered forever.

🩷
I could write about you all day, this doesn’t seem enough. I have definitely missed lots, but I hope you’re smiling down on the few good memories I’ve managed to piece together between tears.
Love you…Until we meet again.
