COLD TENDERNESS 🩶🍃🥀

One of our favourite parts of hosting Hop City is the opportunity to work with some of our favourite breweries from around the world whilst they’re here with us in Leeds. Today, we bring you the first of those collaborations.

The third release in our Patrons Project series with sees us team up with Greece’s and Italy’s to create a fruit cocktail hop bomb of an IPA.

Super-rich and mega hazy, this 6.8% DDH IPA is bursting with guava, mango and candied peach from a mountain of Krush. Idaho 7 brings bold tropical fruit flavours, Strata adds a dank backbone and Citra rounds things out in the dry hop.

Internationally acclaimed combine intricate hand-cut, multilayered stencils with haunting, ethereal portraiture, created from a male and female dual perspective.

Cold Tenderness is one of their most iconic pieces, serving as the focal image for their first solo exhibition in London. Inspired by Pre-Raphaelite painting, it balances beauty and detail with a calm, grounded atmosphere. Steady on the surface, with just enough complexity beneath to keep drawing you back.

Both this beer, and our bespoke Patrons Project label frames are available online now, so you can display your very own piece of SNIK art.

🌿 Northern Monk Foundation 🌿

As we announced last month, this year sees us refocus our Foundation and charitable work around a new mission: Access to the outdoors for all.

Through the Northern Monk Foundation, we will partner with organisations to help fund trips, equipment and opportunities that support marginalised and under-resourced communities to experience the benefits of time spent outdoors.

To mark this next chapter, we’re releasing a limited-edition Northern Monk Foundation beer. And for the first time ever, it features a double-decker peel-and-reveal label.

Uncover all the layers to explore the story behind the Foundation, why this mission matters, and what we hope to achieve together.

The beer itself is a fresh and punchy 6.3% DDH IPA packed with fruit forward hops, bringing notes of mango, orange, passionfruit, lemon and peach.

Proceeds from this beer will go directly to the Northern Monk Foundation, supporting the first official project under our new mission. Available online now.

🌄 THE LAKE DISTRICT 🌄

They say all we do in the UK is complain about the weather but seriously - it’s felt like March recently. HOWEVER all is forgiven - the bank holiday is here and with it a weekend of sunshine, peaks and pubs awaits.

Our journey across the national parks of the UK with illustrator takes us to one of our favourite places - the Lake District. The lakes, the mountains, the scenery, it’s a truly special part of the world.

Liam’s bold, location-based design wraps the can, and the inner label features a walking route for the Scafell Pike and Symonds Knott circular. Pack a can for the summit and complete the experience.

Sticking with the theme, we teamed up with Australian brewing heavyweights to brew a Mountain IPA. The recipe was created as part of the latest Ausfest project, organised by and to showcase Australian hop varieties across a range of styles and regions.

A Mountain IPA is a mash up of East and West coast styles, blending the juicy flavours and full mouthfeel of a hazy IPA with the classic elements of bitterness, malt character and piney, zesty flavours associated with OG US craft beers.

Stock up on cans via the webshop, pack the camping gear, and we’ll see you in the Lakes. (We hear it’s going to be the weather for it this weekend ☀️).

“ONE FOR YOURSELF”🍻

The quintessential gesture.

Carefully stepping back from the bar with a tray full of slightly wobbling pints, and insisting the people who make your pub experience so great have one themselves too.

returns for his next Patrons Project release as we continue our celebration of the grand institution that is the pub, with his iconic illustrations telling a story across the outer and inner label. This time, it’s a 5.7% English IPA brewed in collaboration with Sheffield legends .

Always on the lookout for environmental developments in raw materials, we jumped at the chance to use low carbon hop products. Rather than going through the fuel-heavy drying and pelletising process, these hops are shredded fresh from the vine to preserve as much character as possible.

The beer is packed with Bullion hops, when the brew team opened the bag they got a huge hit of blackcurrant aroma which comes through in the beer itself, alongside notes of lychee, apricot and orange peel from Cascade and Ernest. This is all built on a grist of Chevallier malt, the barley of choice for 19th century India Pale Ale brewers.

Order One for Yourself on the webshop now, or at a pub near you.

FRESH FROM 05

This series is all about showcasing the freshest of the fresh, and this month we’re doing exactly that with a brand new hop called Dolcita.

Rich in tropical stone fruit and sweet aromatics, Dolcita is celebrated for its expressive peach character, bringing layers of caramelised pineapple, orange and caramel cream. We’ve paired it with Bru-1 and El Dorado to dial the citrus and tropical flavours up even further.

Bru-1 Spectrum, a liquid hop extract, was added on day one of fermentation to supercharge the pineapple notes, before a huge late addition of Dolcita layering in even more intensity and complexity.

This release is showcased by Casey, Supervisor at the Old Flax Store. He’s worked with us since last year, and also assists with events in the Chapter Hall. Outside of Monk, Casey is a videographer and runs ._ an online platform supporting up-and-coming young musicians.

Be one of the first to try Dolcita, cans available on the webshop now.

NORTHERN MONK 🤝 SANDWICH KING 🤝 ALFONSO’S

The third release in the Patrons Project sees us team up with Leeds legends , and the King himself, for a triple collab worthy of royalty.

Launched alongside a Cuban Patty Melt sarnie and beer cheese dip at Alfonso’s, this pairing is a thing of beauty.

The beer is a 6% Zesty IPA, taking the citrusy bitterness of a classic West Coast IPA and dialling it up with even more tangerine for maximum fruity, dank refreshment.

“Fruity. Bitter. Quaffable.” The official review from the owner of Alfonso’s and himself.

Try it for yourself with cans available on the webshop now, including a bundle featuring an exclusive glass.

All hail the King 👑🥪

THE HEADLINE ACT 🔥✨🌋

Proudly presenting four hundred and forty millilitres of hop custard, dripping with Citra, Mosaic and Columbus. Arguably our three favourite hops, and for good reason. This is Heathen at its thickest, juiciest and most unholy.

8.4% of hop-drenched sacrilege. Blessed are the Heathens. 🕯️🏹

Lord Heathen 2026 is available now.
