Excited to share the launch of the Yorkshire Wine Trail 🥂

Welcome to the Yorkshire wine trail 🥂🍾

A collective of 10 of the Yorkshire vineyards, there are now 19 vineyards across the region, with more planned, have come together to launch the wine trail.

On this exciting wine trail you will travel from the Pennines, up through South Yorkshire, to North Yorkshire, then over the rolling Wolds to finish on the stunning East coast.

You will take in amazing scenery whilst tasting some of the finest wines grown and made right here in Yorkshire.

We are also working with local tourism boards, accommodation providers and other attractions to really enhance your visit to Yorkshire.

To celebrate the launch a number of our members are open to the public on Saturday 4th April, so why not spend an hour or two of your Easter weekend exploring and discovering your new favourite vineyard.

It’s 2026 guys. Happy New Year! 🥂

Sorry for being a little quiet on here recently. Much like our vines, we’ve been hibernating, reflecting, and building up our reserves for the year ahead.

We’ve had two award-winning years.
Every batch of our classic and rosé traditional method sparkling has been awarded a silver or gold, in various competitions led by internationally recognised masters of wine.

Feedback from experts, Michelin trained chefs, leaders in the wine industry and – most importantly – anyone who enjoys a lovely glass of wine, has been wonderful.
The vines are healthy and thriving.

We take nothing for granted and will continue to strive to excel every moment – in fact every pour that’s gone before!

And we can confidently say that 2026 promises to be the best yet 💛

We’ll keep some of the surprises under our hat for now, and enjoy the hibernation for a little longer.

Our wonderful customers never cease to amaze us. Rawdon Classic 2023 has officially sold out, and we are beyond grateful 🙌🏼🤍

After a not so great year weather wise in 2023, this vintage surpassed our expectations – it’s pure gold, in more ways than one.

For those who bagsied an order at the final furlong, your wine will be with you this week 😊

We’ll be debuting our latest release of Rawdon Classic - from the 2023 vintage. We have samples to try before you buy and some beautiful gift bags ready for the festive season.

We’re sharing the space with some wonderful local lovely stallholders providing a rich variety of food and drink in season from locally brewed beer, organic vegetables, meat, deli and fresh fish to chocolates, eggs, cakes and cheese! Pop down and have a browse - we promise a warm welcome and a gorgeous morning supporting small - local - friendly businesses.

Our Christmas market will be held on Saturday 6 December 2025 and the photo details our planned 21 stalls. All our regulars hope to be with us and we’re pleased to welcome back Cup of Kin, Horsforth Brewery, Knotfield Vines, Melanie’s Chocolates, Ollie makes Chocolates and Thistlemist Farm as guest stalls. Musical entertainment will be provided by Steel Concordia and by Horsforth Choral Society from 11:15. As usual, we’ll have our Nativity Stable set up and there will be a Christmas quiz for the children. The School are holding their Christmas Fair between 10:00 and 12:30, which can be accessed through the Lower market. It would be great to see you, we’re open between 09:00 and 12:30.

While Knotfield specialises in English sparkling, our ambition doesn’t stand still – and neither does our wine.

Each vintage showcases a unique mood: bright and lively; rich and generous; bold or delicate. And as the years go by, our shelf boasts an increasing variety of what the vineyard has to offer – a library of exciting flavours and drinking experiences.

We’re proud that each release isn’t a carbon copy of the one before, instead there’s always new celebration to be crafted and uncorked.

Here’s to not standing still.
