Our Leeds Kirkgate Market shop was the very first Tarbetts Fishmongers, opening our doors back in 2013.

Right in the heart of one of Europe’s largest indoor markets, it’s where our story began — and we’re still bringing an incredible variety of the finest fresh fish and seafood from all over the world to Leeds every day. 🌍🐟

From the waters around Yorkshire to some of the world’s finest fishing grounds, there’s always something special on the counter.

Over 13 years on, and we’re still proud to call Kirkgate Market home. ❤️

We know this might not look like much 👀

But it will soon be home to our new Chapel Allerton bakery & cafe - and we are BEYOND excited to bring our bread to this brilliant Leeds suburb, which is packed full of indie businesses.

Yes, it’s a blank canvas - but we hope to be open in early July with a full team, outside seating, a beautiful (stripy) awning, a gorgeous counter packed full of lovely stuff - and with our signature 🐦 ✨ mural.

And for now, Al is just standing here, waiting for the builders to arrive…🤣

Ps thanks for ALL your CVs - we’ve been absolutely inundated but we hope to reply to everyone over the next week or two. There’s a LOT of talent out there 🙌
