☀️As we are expected to reach temperatures of around 34 degrees today, we have made the decision to close the playground for the safety of our visitors☀️

It will be open like normal tomorrow!!

🛝 Playground Notice 🛝

☀️ Due to the hot weather, we’ve made the decision to close our Playground for the next few days, as much of the equipment becomes overheated and unsafe to use.☀️

Our Farm Park remains open as normal. However, we will not be running any animal handling sessions to ensure our animals stay as comfortable and safe as possible during the heat.🐑🐴🐄

✨We hope to reopen the Play Park on Saturday 27th June, subject to the weather improving✨

Thank you for your understanding, and please remember to stay hydrated and take care in the heat. 💕

Weekend Volunteers Needed at Gorse Hill City Farm! 🐐🐑🐓

Do you have a few hours to spare at the weekend? We'd love to hear from you!

Gorse Hill City Farm is looking for enthusiastic, reliable volunteers aged 16 and over to help us care for our animals and keep the farm running smoothly on Saturdays and Sundays.

Whether you're looking to gain experience, meet new people, spend time outdoors, or simply give something back to your local community, volunteering with us is a rewarding way to make a real difference.

Tasks may include:
🐾 Animal care and feeding
🧹 Cleaning and maintaining animal areas
🌱 General farm duties
😊 Helping create a welcoming environment for our visitors

No previous experience is necessary—just a willingness to get involved and learn!
