THIS SATURDAY, 18th of April, 10am-1pm we are attending the Spring Fair at Martyrs Community Hall( 19 Westcotes Drive, LE3 0QT)

We wil have a great selection of fairtrade products you can buy from our table: tea, coffee, chocolate, some refills( shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash)- please bring your own bottle to refill!
We will also have a selection of jewellery, toys, socks and some sale gift items.

End of an era! After 16 years on Silver Street and 30 years in the city centre we say good bye for now. However our online shop is still up; justfairtrade.com and soon to be much improved. And plans are afoot, so keep in touch!

🕊️ BAFTS has been watching with deep concern the situation in Iran, and our thoughts are with the artisans that our member .gallery works in solidarity with across the country.

➡️ We are gravely concerned by reports of escalating violence against peaceful protesters, prolonged internet shutdowns, and the severe impact these measures are having on livelihoods.

Many artisans are afraid to leave their homes, workshops have been forced to close, and families are living under extreme psychological pressure, making it impossible for many to work or earn a living.

BAFTS calls on the authorities in Iran to fulfil their obligations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, including the rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.🕊️
