Right, final post as we are all shattered and need some sleep. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the Lazydays Festival crew. Itā€™s a huge boon for Southend to have this on the doorstep. It brings in thousands of the happiest people and really does show off some of the best of our town. Hundreds of our small, local businesses, in combination with a host of volunteers, work in near perfect harmony to make it all happen. It is incredible to witness. And itā€™ll be here year on year with your support - so get your tickets in early and come out in your thousands next year for an even bigger and better festival. This post ends with a picture of some of our family (and friends) with The Official Sister Sledge and some of her family after she had just sung ā€˜We Are Familyā€™ - hopefully youā€™ll appreciate the laboured sentimentā€¦ā¤ļø

Letā€™s track them downā€¦.these three were just regular Lazydays Festival goers until they were hand plucked by Sister Sledge to join them on stage for ā€˜The Greatest Dancerā€™ and they stole the show with some incredible moves, cheered on by the huge Southend crowd. They joined us all backstage for a leighspiritco iced mojito but didnā€™t have a camera to capture it all šŸ˜¢and we didnā€™t get their names to send this picture onto themā€¦so if you recognise them, please tagā€¦itā€™s like a really wholesome version of Crimewatch

ā€˜Donā€™t have nightmares, do dance wellā€™

A star struck and smitten leighspiritco got to meet a personal hero in natalie_imbruglia Lazydays Festival who is as talented and delightful as you can imagine. For those that donā€™t know, she was one of the original muses for our Gin bottle design. She was ā€˜tornā€™ between our spirit choices but ultimately decided it would be a ā€˜big mistakeā€™ not to have a gin and tonic.
