Dusting the Barbecue off tomorrow at Black Lion from 12-4 so if you fancy a gin with your sausage, or a burger with your pint (or any other combination thereof). Of course I'll be selling Stratton's seriously banging burgers or bockwurst hotdogs. The burgers are gourmet burgers with cheese/onions, with lettuce, tomato and fresh coleslaw available.

If that doesn't get your taste buds tingling, we're back again on Sunday for pulled pork and pulled beef rolls, again from 1pm-4pm. Delicious own recipe pulled meats.

Then back again on Monday avo for chicken & chorizo paella afternoon. All cooked fresh, on-site and available from 12-3. Sounds like a chicken dinner!

All of this combined with the usual selection of ales, ciders and gins from the multi-award winning Black Lion. What is not to like?

There might be a bit of a drizzle tomorrow but when have us Brits ever let that get in the way of a good pint and burger?? I look forward to seeing you there! Bond and Bellamy

The Beginning

Our catering business started as a favour for some friends and customers when they asked me to do a BBQ for a charity clay pigeon shoot; of course I said yes. Now, ten years on, here we are providing a large range of catering offerings to businesses and individuals. For the last 20 years I have remained in our butcher shop in Leighton Buzzard sharpening my tools and practicing the skills that my father and grandfather have passed down to me over the last 80 years. My main drive is quality food, cooking and discovering new techniques and partners. As a business we are determined to give an amazing service and quality of product. “Give us a try!
