✨🍻Festival Bier 2026🍻✨
It is time.

We have released our first Oktoberfest b**r, which of course is Festival Bier. In the past we have played around with using different heritage barley varieties, but this year we have decided to showcase our ultimate favourite, Golden Promise. A variety that we will brew with for as long as it continues to grow.

A lot of you have already been raiding our web shop, so if you haven’t yet make sure to get an order in quick as these b**rs won’t be around for long!

This season’s Turbo Shandy has arrived! One of our favourites, Lemon and Raspberry, is back to keep you refreshed during these endless heatwaves! Even zestier than before and filled to the brim with juicy raspberries.

Also, this little guy has made a reappearance just in time for summer!

Lite is a super easy breezy 3.4% l***r brewed using Lothian malt and just a little sprinkling of bittering hops to give it that thirst quenching goodness. It’s certainly the current go to for everyone here as a post brew beverage 🍻

Perfect for long afternoons in the sun! ☀️

Our very own Kuba has programmed a series of film screenings! They’ll be showing over the next month and a bit on Tuesdays. We’re all super excited for it and everyone else should be too! There are a limited amount of tickets that you can purchase from the web shop (link in bio).

The first screening is Pierrot Le Fou on the 30th of this month:

🐾🍻🥰LEIA IPA🥰🍻🐾

Our latest super fresh batch of IPA has arrived!

Packaged just a few days ago, we have Leia IPA, named after one of our favourite 4 legged taproom regulars! If you’ve been in our taproom you’ve likely seen Leia roaming around saying hello to people. She’s just the absolute sweetest girl! 🥰🐾

We brewed this one using Bere barley and hopped heavily with Hallertau Blanc and Nelson Sauvin. Tasty little combo!

We recently invited our pals from up the road from Home Farm to help us out with our first ever DIPA! West coast style, of course. It’s got to be crispy, clean, and bitter enough so you can still tell that it’s a Newbarns b**r!

We went for a blend of classic and modern hops with Centennial and Amarillo for the foundation then some Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin added in there for some extra tasty pizzazz!

✨🧙🏼‍♂️Karl’s Mild 🧙🏼‍♂️✨

Two years after Gordon’s Comfort Mild was brewed at , here we finally are with Karl’s Mild! The 4th instalment of our dark mild collab with .

After the sweetest surprise that they chose to name two of their versions of the mild after Gordon and myself, we couldn’t wait to return the gesture.

This is such a beautifully balanced brew, super roasty but with just the right amount of sweetness to make it feel like a big welcoming hug.

It’s been a dream to collab with the best in the biz. Even though we make very different b**rs, we’ve learnt so much from Henok and Karl over the years. We feel very lucky to also be able to call them our close friends.

🍻🌸🌿🌺🌱🌼Frühlingsbier🌼🌱🌺🌿🌸🍻

Frühlingsbier is our hoppy little spring time l***r brewed with East Lothian malt and a sprinkling of Callista hops. This hazy l***r is just the thing to be sipping on outside in the sun as we move from spring into the summer time.

Barrel Aged Plain Dark B**r - Daftmill Edition

Here is our latest Barrel Aged Plain Dark B**r! Last year we brewed up some more PDB and popped a small portion of it into a couple of barrels from Daftmill Distillery over in Fife. We were super excited to get our hands on a couple of their barrels. In my opinion, they’re creating some of the most delicious wh**ky Scotland has to offer. And they’re a lovely bunch of people!
