🅿️ Car Parking Developments in Letchworth Garden City 🚗
Further to our recent post about changes to car parking, and our commitment to improvements around the town – next week, we will be starting the next phase of our work at The Wynd car park.
ℹ️ Here’s the news:
🛣️ Resurfacing Work - Starts on Monday 20th July and we expect it to be completed by 14th August. We will be resurfacing the entire car park with gravel. We will be doing this in two stages – only half of the car park will be unavailable at a time. (Starting at the Sub Station end of the car park) Whilst this temporarily reduces the number of spaces available for use, we think this is the most efficient way of completing the resurfacing whilst keeping the car park open and operational.
💡Lighting Work - We are currently awaiting council approval on new street lighting for the car park – we anticipate this lighting being installed as part of the work also, pending approval.
