Today we welcomed a very special guest to our Lewes shop. Meet Ella!

Ella plays for Lewes Football Club and this season, she's our sponsored player. She came in for a tour, met Robin and the team, and left with a hamper packed with the good stuff: nutrient-dense, protein-rich, real food to help fuel her training and keep her strong all season.

Because here's the thing about Ella: she's fearless, focused, and she's a phenomenal athlete who's curious about her own health and nutrition. That's exactly the kind of mindset we want to feed, literally.

Lewes FC and The Seasons believe in the same things: community, growth, and doing right by the people (and players) around us. Sponsoring Ella isn't just about a badge on a shirt, it's about backing someone who's building something real, on and off the pitch.

Here's lovely Lucie, with her box of fresh seasonal organic fruit and veg, gifted by us to support the amazing work she does alongside @ with local kids every summer ☀️🫶🍎

Lucie Simon is a nutritional therapist and the founder of Feel Good Food. Each summer she and Lara from Press Play Films, run holiday workshops where kids eat (and drink!) the rainbow and, sometimes, turn fresh fruit into turtles, butterflies and flowers 🐢🍒🌸

Then they sit down and eat the lot together. The workshops run through the Holiday Activities and Food programme, the scheme that grew out of Marcus Rashford’s fight for kids to eat well beyond the school gates.

When Robin heard what Lucie was doing, he started donating free organic fruit and veg for every workshop, ever since.

Our Lewes shop is turning into a gallery again this September, for Artwave Festival!

We've teamed up with artist and illustrator Sophie Bresnahan, whose vision for our space is an enchanting mushroom forest. Large upcycled fabric mushrooms, painted leaves and trailing plants hanging from the ceiling, the whole shop transformed for the length of the festival.

Robin introduced Sophie to Headway Sussex the brain injury association, and that's when the project became something bigger. Sophie's spent months making many of the pieces you'll see in the shop alongside brain injury survivors and volunteers at Headway Sussex Art, turning workshops into an installation the whole community gets to walk through this September.

Come and experience it in the shop, 5th to 20th September. Bringing kids? Grab one of Sophie's colouring sheets, let their creative juices flow, and post it back through our mushroom letterbox for a chance to win a prize at the end of the month.

The Artwave brochures just landed in the shop, and they're properly beautiful 😍

Pop into our shop and grab one, free, while they last. Every artist and maker in the festival, times, maps, everything you need between two covers. We've been flicking through ours all morning and can't stop grinning about starting 5th September.

We need a Storeroom Supervisor in Lewes and a Delivery Driver in Forest Row. Full-time and part-time, different hours, same team spirit.

Storeroom Supervisor: full-time, weekends, £14.00/hour to start.

Delivery Driver: Fridays only, ~6 hours, 25+, full clean licence, £12.80/hour, start immediately.

We got a lovely little shout out in The Times and Sunday Times this weekend. Their piece, by Hannah Summers, on exploring told readers to ‘swerve the Co-op and pick up your essentials from Seasons’ - which made our day!!!

Even better, we got to share the spotlight with some of the locals heroes we stock, Tablehurst Farm Plaw Hatch Farm and High Weald Dairy 🙌

That’s the whole point of The Seasons really, being part of something bigger than a shop 🌏🌱💚
