Harvey’s Celebrates a Haul of 2026 Beer Awards 🏆

We’re delighted to share a fantastic collection of awards from the 2026 World Beer Awards and British Bottlers’ Institute Awards.

🏆We picked up World's Best awards for:

Lewes Castle Brown Ale – World’s Best Dark Beer & English Style Brown Ale
Old Ale – World’s Best Mild Ale
Sussex Stronghold – World’s Best Pale Barley Wine
Sweet Sussex Stout – World’s Best Sweet Stout

🏆 Gold Medal & UK Winner awards for:
Sisters, Ouse Booze, Star of Eastbourne, Imperial Extra Double Stout, Prince of Denmark

🏆And at the British Bottlers’ Institute Awards, both Christmas Ale and Pilsner picked up Gold Medals.

A fantastic result across the Harvey’s range and a real credit to our amazing brewing team!

Fresh hop delivery! 🍺

Phil Wheeler from Tibbs Farm in Rye popped in today with some beautiful fresh green hops for our September brew of Southdown Harvest.

Described as ‘sublime’ by Miles, they went straight into the Copper and hop back of today’s brew.

A celebration of the hop harvest and a seasonal brew to look forward to in a couple of weeks!

Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome RevElite on their charity car run from Tunbridge Wells to Brighton, with a fantastic line-up of supercars, classic cars and motorbikes stopping off at the brewery for a well-earned tea or coffee.

The run raised support for The Mason Foundation, helping young people with learning disabilities access opportunities and pathways into employment.

It certainly made a change from the usual brewery drays filling the yard!

A pleasure to be one of the stops along the way and support a great cause.

South Coast IPA has been flying out since its return!

Bright, hoppy and refreshing, with citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruit flavours, this 5% pale ale is the perfect pint to enjoy in the weekend sunshine.

Brewed here at Harvey’s with Brighton Bier founder Gary Sillence back in the brewhouse to help faithfully revive this modern Sussex classic.

You’ll find it pouring on cask at selected Harvey’s pubs and stockists throughout August, but don’t hang around, it won’t be around for long! 🍻

We were pleased to welcome brewers from across the UK and beyond for a tour of Harvey’s last Friday, ahead of the excellent These Hills beer festival at Glynde Place.

It’s always great to show others in the industry around the brewery, share a few beers and give them a glimpse of how we do things here in Sussex!
