Can you believe it’s that time already? Pumpkin patch planning for our 2026 season is officially underway! We’re diving into meetings, spreadsheets, seed catalogues, price lists and more as we choose and order lots of fabulous varieties.

We’re hoping this year’s patch will be our best one yet - and yes, we’ve got a few surprises up our sleeve too! Make sure you’re following us so you don’t miss any of the latest updates from the patch! 🎃

We have an amazing update from the team at Leyland Hedgehog Rescue. Their fundraising and craft stall at this year's pumpkin patch raised over £1000 in just one weekend. They've been able to use the funds to purchase medication, feeding stations, heat pads and hedgehog houses.

On behalf of the teams, both at the rescue and here at the pumpkin patch, we'd like to say a massive thank you for your generosity. The money raised will make an incredible difference to the poorly and injured hedgehogs.

Here's some useful and important information about what you can do with your leftover pumpkins. You can also make amazing soup or pumpkin pies from any uncarved pumpkins you may have. How about roasting the seeds for a delicious snack too! There are lots of ideas and recipes online....but please remember - don't throw old pumpkins onto the ground in your garden, as they can be harmful - and potentially fatal for some wildlife, including hedgehogs. It's okay to hang them up for birds and squirrels to find, with the latter also being partial to some peanut butter coated around the insides of any cuts you've made into your pumpkin 🎃

It's a wrap on the 2025 season at Paul’s Farm Pumpkin Patch! 🎃

Well done to all the pumpkin adventurers who braved the rain and mud to visit us on our last day. Despite the weather, we hope you enjoyed your visit.

This year has been our busiest ever—and we couldn’t have done it without YOU. Thank you to every visitor, new and returning, who made this season so special. Your smiles, stories, and support mean the world to us.

A huge shoutout to our incredible volunteers—your time, energy, and enthusiasm helped bring the patch to life. We’re endlessly grateful for all you do. Here are a few pictures of some of today's team who helped to keep things running smoothly.

Good evening pumpkin pickers... Today was Sunny Saturday (almost) down on the patch! As always, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to see us. We hope you enjoyed your visit and made lots of happy memories.

It's hard to believe, but tomorrow is the final day of our 2025 season. We have plenty of pumpkins left, so if you're coming to see us, wrap up warm, bring some wellies and we'll see you from 10am!

Good morning pumpkin pickers! We're open today from 10am until 4pm, with last admission at 3.30pm on the gate. Don't forget, this weekend we're joined by Leyland Hedgehog Rescue and the Royal British Legion will be launching this year's poppy appeal. Don't forget to wrap up warm and bring your wellies for your time on the patch.

Unbelievably, this coming weekend marks the end of our 2025 season! It’s been an absolute pleasure to welcome families, friends and pumpkin lovers from near and far to the patch — thank you for making it magical.

Our final weekend is also extra special, as it sees the official launch of the 2025 Poppy Appeal in Leyland. Volunteers from our charity partner, the Royal British Legion, will be on-site both Saturday and Sunday, offering you the opportunity to buy a poppy to wear with pride.

Please come along, show your support, and help us honour those who serve and have served. Let’s wrap up our 2025 pumpkins and poppies season with a fabulous sense of community and remembrance.

Hi everyone...well, we went from Super Saturday yesterday to Soggy Sunday today! Although we work all kinds of pumpkin magic down on the patch, we've not yet figured out how to conjure up the sunshine! Bones, our friendly Skeketon, definitely had the best idea, keeping dry in our spooky shed and entertaining you through the downpours!

Despite the rain, we had a fabulous day and were thrilled to meet so many new faces. We hope you enjoyed your visit and that the weather didn't dampen your spirits too much!

As always, thanks so much for coming to see us and we truly hope you enjoyed your visit.

Morning pumpkin pickers! Just a very quick heads-up to say we're open today from 10am to 4pm, with last admission at 3.30pm on the gate. The forecast is for breezy conditions, with some rain, so we'd advise you to bring some wellies to change into and maybe a bin bag for your pumpkins, which will help to keep your cars clean on your homeward journey. We look forward to seeing you later this morning 🎃
