WE’RE HIRING FOR OCTOBER! 🎃

We’re looking for brilliant, hardworking people to join the Lichfield Maize Maze team for our busy 2026 pumpkin and maize maze season.

October is one of our busiest and most exciting times of year. It’s fast-paced, very hands-on and almost entirely outdoors - so we’re looking for people who are reliable, punctual, friendly, calm under pressure and prepared to get stuck in whatever the weather.

Above all, we’re looking for people who are nice to work with, bring plenty of energy and enthusiasm, and can stay cheerful and composed when the site gets extremely busy.

Our October opening dates are:

Saturday 3rd - Sunday 4th October
Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th October
Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th October
Friday 23rd - Saturday 31st October - open daily

We expect to receive a large number of applications, so unfortunately we won’t be able to respond individually to everyone. However, every application will be read and kept on file, and we’ll contact those we’d like to speak to further.

What a night for Lichfield! 🇬🇧🥂🪊🇬🇧🥂🪊

We were so proud to be one of the sponsors of Lichfield District Council’s incredible Proms in the Park at Beacon Park this evening, alongside a number of other brilliant local businesses.

A huge thank you to Lichfield District Council for once again putting on such a fantastic FREE event for our city. Thousands of people coming together in beautiful Beacon Park, enjoying live music, food, drinks and one of those gorgeous September evenings that make you feel very lucky to live here.

We love going to Proms in the Park every year as a family and it has become one of our favourite September traditions - an evening spent with friends, soaking up the very best of Lichfield. And we think tonight may just have been the best one yet! The sun shone, the park looked beautiful and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful.

For us as a family, it was also such a lovely way to round off what has been an incredible summer.

It was brilliant to see so many local businesses involved too, including one of our favourites, Sip & Style Events who some of you may recognise from our adults-only picnic evenings at the maze, where they served up their delicious cocktails. We can’t recommend these guys enough - especially my personal favourite, the Lichfield Garden Cocktail! Make sure you check them out. They are a very new local business and we really do think they are absolutely amazing.

A huge well done and thank you once again to everyone at Lichfield District Council who works so hard behind the scenes to make events like this happen. To be able to provide an event of this scale, completely free of charge, for so many thousands of people to enjoy is something really special.

Summer is officially a wrap… and just like that, we’re into pumpkin mode 🎃

Less than a month to go until our October season begins and tickets are already selling fast, with some time slots nearly sold out.

And that’s a wrap on Summer 2026! 🌻

What an incredible fifth summer it has been at Lichfield Maize Maze - without doubt our best one yet.

A huge thank you to the thousands of you who have visited us this summer. It has been so lovely welcoming back familiar faces, meeting lots of new ones, celebrating special birthdays, five marriage proposals and seeing families and friends travel from all over the country to spend the day together.

It has also been our first summer running Field & Flower Café, and we’ve been completely overwhelmed by all of your wonderful feedback. We’re so glad you’ve loved it as much as we have.

And finally, the biggest thank you to our brilliant team - both those you see around the maze and everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

For families, our next opening day is Saturday 3rd October for pumpkin season. 🎃

There are still a few tickets left for our final adults-only Sunset in the Flowers picnic evening this Friday night if you fancy one last summer evening with us 🥂🥂🥂

But tomorrow, we’re having a very well-earned day with our own children before they head back to school… and then it’s all systems go for pumpkins!

Today is the last day of Summer at Lichfield Maize Maze!

Summer 2026 closes this evening at 5pm, with last entry at 3.30pm, so today is your LAST CHANCE to visit !!!

It has been an extraordinary summer season. The rainforest themed maize mazes, the sunflowers and wildflowers that have been incredible despite such difficult growing conditions, Field & Flower Café opening for the first time, Sunset evenings, Quiet Time mornings, five engagements, the families who found us for the first time, and the ones who have been coming back again and again for years.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for the BEST summer yet!

Tomorrow is our final day of summer 2026 🌻🌸

We honestly can’t quite believe how quickly this summer has flown by, and we’d love to welcome as many of you as possible for one last day of maze exploring, flower picking, picnics, cake and countryside fun before we close the gates on another summer season.

🌿 Quiet Time: 9–10am – a gentler, calmer start to the day
🌻 Day tickets: from 10am

There are still plenty of beautiful flowers to pick and both mazes are waiting for one final adventure.

Thank you so much to everyone who has visited, supported us and made this summer such a special one. We hope to see lots of you tomorrow for one last hurrah! 🌻

We didn't quite feel ready to say goodbye to our picnic evenings (and nor did you!), so we've added one more!

Four evenings this summer, every one of them sold out, and somewhere amongst the picnic blankets, three couples got engaged. We think the flower fields might just be a little bit magical!

So, here it is, one final Picnic Evening this Friday 4th September. The wildflowers are looking absolutely beautiful right now, there'll be live music as the sun goes down, and you're welcome to bring your own picnic or pre-order one of our cheese or charcuterie boards.

Adults only, £15.95 per person, and as always we keep numbers low so it never feels busy.
