Lunchtime treat after servicing the Annex.

Decided to try the light bite Ciabatta,(Honey roast gammon, aged cheddar and the secret ingredient 'CL chutney') Sounded a bit droll, so added a classic Greek salad to get a zing from the feta....... Everything was crisp, tasty and droolingly good for a hungry couple, politely sharing. But as great as all the local ingrediants were, ..... one item stole the show for me.....

It was the CL Chutney, so i asked what had given this chutney its distinctive taste......... Pineapple ... Yeh!!! Pineapple.
I've eaten pineapple in a Hawaiian pizza, so why has Pineapple chutney taken me by surprise ? AMAZING !!!!!

The Church of St.Michael de la Rupe, Brentor, on the edge of Dartmoor.
You can see it from miles around, Avalon esque. There's free parking nearby,
a bit of a scramble to the top, but well worth the climb for the fantastic panaramic views.
Aprox. 4 miles from Lifton.
