🚨 UBER

we’ve had an automated call to say that we have orders waiting on our Uber Eats account. We can not accept or decline these orders as we can’t access our uber account. As we can’t accept or decline them, uber will automatically cancel the order and refund it to you.

We are temporarily closed, however we can’t access uber to turn the ordering off!

Apologies for any inconvenience.

A little update from Smash Yard… 🍔

Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close Smash Yard while we take some time to get things sorted.

This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. We’ve put so much into getting Smash Yard up and running, and we’ve had setback after setback along the way. From the kitchen roof leaking to the ongoing issues with delivery platforms not working as they should, it’s been one thing after another.

With the majority of customers preferring delivery and collections being few and far between, we simply can’t make things financially viable when the platforms aren’t doing what they’re supposed to. We’ve also had money withheld by Uber, which has added even more pressure at an already difficult time.

As much as we love serving you all, we have to take a step back, take some time to sort things out and work out the best way forward

This isn’t goodbye! We’re using this time to get things in order, and we’ll keep you updated along the way.

Keep your eyes peeled for news on our reopening! 🍔🍟

Thank you to everyone who has supported Smash Yard so far. It genuinely means a lot to us, and we hope to be back serving you again soon! 💛

Unfortunately we won’t be open on Uber Eats for a while.

All of you lovely people have been ordering through uber but unfortunately uber have put the wrong bank details into our account. Meaning a random bank account has been paid out. Were approximately £832 down because of this. That’s from 3 weeks of sales.

Uber first said our bank account details were correct, and then they said they weren’t and now they’re saying we’ve been hacked. But we have 2 factor authentication on…and nothings flagged up.

Until we get this sorted and find out where the moneys gone, we don’t want risk using them again.

Just eat is fine to use for now! Or collect directly from us. 🍔

Following yesterday’s leak unfortunately we won’t be open for the remainder of the week. We’ll be back open from Thursday next week!

Unfortunately we’re closed today due to a leak in our kitchen 💧

We will be back open tomorrow from 12pm-8pm/10pm!

Just Eat UK drivers are being shocking again the device said cook now and the driver dropped the order! now waiting on another driver. obviously we made the food, phoned up customers services to find the driver will be another 30 minutes, had to bin the cooked food to recook shocking..

Uber Eats seems to be the quickest platform to order on normally have a driver within 10 minutes.

Deliveroo haven't had a single order because we don't show up as open

So many hours on hold trying to deal with just eat and deliveroo hopefully one day they will sort there acts out and work for the 30% commison we pay

We’re open on just eat and uber eats now until 8pm!
