Have you heard of doctor-phobia?

Our research shows that it’s a real fear for many people who are unhappy with their weight, with some even putting off seeing their GP over fears they’ll be judged 💔.

On the other hand, 60% of Slimming World members we asked said they felt no nerves ahead of visiting the doctor, while 77% said their health had improved since joining a local group ✨.

“Things like bending down to pick something up and kneeling were difficult. Even a three-minute walk from my house to the pub left me breathless. Now nearly 7st lighter thanks to Slimming World, I’ve built up fitness at my own pace and I can now walk and run with ease 🚶‍♀️.
