Hey everyone!! As you’ve probably noticed, the page has been quiet for the last week or two, and unfortunately we can now share why….

It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve made the decision to close the BakeShed.

With work commitments making it harder to give the shed the time it deserves, alongside the ever-rising cost of ingredients and supplies and most of all utility bills, continuing would mean putting my prices up to a level I wouldn’t feel comfortable charging.

I could either compromise on the quality of what I make or charge prices that I don’t believe are right, and neither feels like the BakeShed I wanted to create.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, as I’ve loved building the BakeShed and seeing all the support.

I want to thank my beautiful wife ( Abi ) and my amazing Mum ( Sarah ) for all there help during the time we’ve been open and a massive thankyou to my whole family for all the love and support I have received throughout❤️❤️

I am incredibly proud of the success we have achieved in such a small time however this currently reflects the uneasy times we live in!!!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, bought a bake or shared a post. It genuinely means more than you know. A journey I always dreamed of and will always be proud to say we achieved so much🥹

One last thing I’d like to mention is please make sure you support local…. I know there are some fantastic bake sheds in the local area that deserve all the support they can get!!
