As of this weekend, all Moo To You accounts will be switched over to our sister company Plumbs Dairy. You should have received a letter about this with your milk over the last week or so. All customer accounts will be automatically moved across on Friday. Your deliveries will carry on exactly the same, with the same milkmen, on the same delivery days. The only difference will be if you have an online account. If so, this will be switched off on Friday at 4pm and you will need to register for an online account on www.plumbs-dairy.co.uk

Again we’ve been made aware by customers that national company McQueens Dairy have been canvassing in the area and telling people that Plumb’s Dairy and Moo To You Dairy are going bust and so they should move over to them. This is absolutely and categorically not true and is just a perfect example of how this company operates. If you would like to be served by a company that is not local and that lies to you from day one (and charges more!), then McQueens are for you!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour and not the first time we have heard this from our friends and customers but they are not interested in changing their tactics when we have approached them sadly. And really sadly we are aware of some vulnerable adults in the area that they have told this to who have believed every word and moved across.

Competition is fine and healthy. Lies are not.

Pretty sad that McQueens aren’t confident in their service enough to be based on the truth.

🎄Everything anyone could ever need for their Christmas dinner from turkeys, gammons, sausages, fruit and veg boxes, cranberry sauce, Christmas puddings, Christmas cakes, mince pies and everything in between has gone out yesterday and today. It’s our busiest month, and this week is the peak and we have finally done it, and it’s now time for us to start thinking about our own celebrations! Have a wonderful Christmas everyone 🎄 🎅We appreciate you all immensely and are so grateful for all of your kind wishes over the phone, in emails and gifts left out for your milkmen and women all over. Thank you ❤️

Just to remind you, we will be on skeleton staff in the office now so will only be able to deal with things needing an immediate response between Christmas and New Year. Don’t forget you can (please do 😜) leave a note out for your milkman if you just want to cancel anything.

And lastly, if you usually get your milk on a Thursday, don’t forget that it will be left on the Friday instead for the next two weeks due to bank holidays.

Save this post for a handy reminder about which days your milk will be delivered Christmas and New Year week! Not surprisingly we will not be delivering Christmas Day, Boxing Day and 1st or 2nd Jan. To make sure we get to everyone at least twice during those weeks we have had to juggle delivery days for everyone. Take a look and make a note on your calendar! 🗓️
