Absolutely stunning. I love the walk to Lansallos beach, and the sea was perfect for a really long, relaxing swim yesterday. Couldn’t pass by Rosslyn Cafe without a quick call in for some of their wonderful refreshments.

A bramble ramble is a perfect use of time before heading to the beach for a swim! A daily forage soon produces a useful amount of blackberries for jams, chutneys and puddings.

The verdict . . . bleddy ‘ansum! A family pasty-making session in Norway 🇳🇴 We needed two ovens to fit them all in after everyone had filled and crimped their own pasty. There’s no reason not to have a pasty supper, even when you’re a long way from Cornwall!

Cycling with a difference! A 20 mile round trip on an old railway track from the beautiful town of Flekkefjord. It was hard work at times, but the views are absolutely stunning.

Now that’s what I call a road trip! Three days travelling, and the presents are delivered after an unexpected Cornish welcome.
Day 1: Cornwall to Folkestone,then Amsterdam via France and Belgium.
Day 2: Amsterdam to Denmark via Germany.
Day3: Ferry from Denmark to Norway then a 2 hour drive.

There’s nothing like a lovely beach jolly! You can’t beat good friends, silly inflatables and a beach cafe tea. I’m sure we’ll be popping down to Millendreath again for an evening dip.

Now that’s a lot of gooseberries! Good job I had my little helper (although he was on blackcurrant duty with Grandma). Lots of topping and tailing ahead to keep me out of mischief tonight. Hard work, but I do enjoy the fruits of my labour 😋.
