Thank you to all who made our Eurovision themed pantry at St Mary's Millennium Centre today a joyous celebration of community cohesion. Thank you to our friends from the Ukraine who brought their own culinary skills to the community and a special thanks to Zenia for the Borscht, Homebaked Anfield for providing the delicious peace pies Rob Wood for all his efforts, Rev Stephen, Maureen Delahunty The Bobby Colleran Trust Food Social the wonderful volunteers and all involved.

Today I got to meet the amazing people of We donated funds towards to their weekly food bank with one based in west derby village. We are going to supporting/Working with robbie and his amazing dedicated team over the next coming months. If you or know anyone who is struggling at the minute This breaks the stigma around food banks, It’s basically like going shopping they even have baskets!🫶🏼🤍💫

The pick ups have started for today! This will be redistributed at The Drive, L14 tonight at 6pm. New venue! Very exciting.

Liverpool Zero Waste Community will be at the St Mary’s Millenium Centre, L12 as usual tomorrow morning (even though the Pantry isn’t on), just for 1 hour, 10-11am. As it’s just us there won’t be the full range of foods available but we are expecting that we’ll have lots of bread as usual. Come along and bring your bags. See you tomorrow!

New venue - West Derby
A huge thank you to our volunteers who collected surplus food this morning and redistributed it at Millennium Centre, West Derby this morning. We will be there every Friday morning with Fans Supporting Foodbanks.
