Throwback to this time last week where the team headed over to Steel City to brew with a brewery we've admired for a long time - Abbeydale Brewery

After marvelling at the sheer size of their brewhouse, we got to work on a recipe we've been collaborating on for many months now.

As you can see, it's very dark and got plenty of hops in it - answers on a postcard please.

Don't forget this Saturday as part of our Brewery Open Day we're hosting Mikkeller Running Club Liverpool

Meet up from 12pm to limber up, then head out on a 5k at 12:30pm, then head back to ours for bevs and scran.

Open to absolutely anybody and everybody of all running levels and abilities - you can register for free on the day!

Fingers crossed the nice weather holds up for our next open day on Saturday!

if you've been before, you know the drill, but if not, then it's pretty straightforward: come to our brewery and have some fun!

We'll have our pop-up bar on the go, providing the scran, outdoor games for all ages, and of course a chance to poke around the brewhouse.

No need to book, just rock up!

Throwback to last week, where the certified Most Handsome Dray Driver in All of Merseyside, and lifelong friend Jay tied the knot with his wonderful partner Hannah.

When Jay's not on the van, you'll find him drumming for various bands around Liverpool, and Hannah is one of the owners of Bramble Berries Ltd - a cool AF cafe which does the best cakes in Crosby!

THIS WEEKEND!

If you're heading over to Clitheroe Beer Festival keep your eyes peeled for not one, but TWO special beers.

🍺 Our English Dubbel makes a return after taking Edinburgh by storm in September last year on the keg bar - In the style of Belgian Trappist Dubbels, brewed with all English malt and hops. Roasted barley adds toasted notes to it's dark and sweet character, while the addition of coriander, black pepper, and cinnamon brings a gentle spice to it's already boozy warmth.

🍺 Brewed exclusively for this festival, on the cask bar you'll find a 7.7% Belgian West Coast IPA - Triple hopped with fruity Polaris, Citra, and Motueka atop a spicy, herbal bitterness from a Belgian yeast strain typically used to ferment Tripels.
