Hops and hops and hops and hops and hops!

Forte is a big brew, with 19 timed additions of classic US "big C" hops, in the true Westie style.

For the many trips up and down the ladder to the top of the copper, we enlisted some help from our good pals at ShipandMitre Liverpool, and as a reward they got first dibs on casks of Forte to pour at their beer festival at St George's Hall later this month!

FINAL OPEN DAY OF THE SUMMER!

Join us on Saturday 19th September for the season finale of our brewery pop-up taps!

There'll be the usual tunes, scran, tank pours, cask and keg beers, who knows, we might even throw an Impy on.

Get yourselves down for the last chance this year to poke around the brewery and have some proper sound pints with the team.

For our latest special, we’ve gone to Aotearoa for influence. 🇳🇿

WAIATA, which is the Māori word for song, is a 4.4% pale ale hopped exclusively with hops from New Zealand, namely Motueka and Waimea. These two hops combine to create a citrus fruit hit as big as Aoraki. Expect notes of zesty lime, gooseberry and white grape with a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel 😋🍋‍🟩

A swell of classic American ‘C’ hops create waves of grapefruit and pine flavours that wash over your palate.

A gnarly combo of malts give a caramel and biscuit undertow you’d expect from a true Westie, but it’s sessionable ABV ensures you won’t wipeout!

No prizes for guessing which iconic ‘60s California band inspired the story for this one!
