👋 HI! I’m Flavia, the owner behind Our Coffee Shop. ☕💚

You might remember me from our last video here… the one celebrating because THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS WERE BACK TO NORMAL! 🎉😭

Well, plot twist… THEY WERE FOR ONLY 2 DAYS! 😖🤡

Apparently, they still need to lay some sensors and paint some lines, so today we’re back to playing The Hunger Games: Spital Road Edition 🚧🚦

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what months of roadworks, endless traffic and customers being put off visiting have done to me…

I’VE TRANSFORMED INTO A HALLOWEEN VILLAIN… A WEEK EARLY. 👹🍵

At this point, I’m one more road closure away from hunting down everyone involved… with a matcha whisk in one hand and a broom in the other. 🧹😂

BUT… before you think I’ve completely lost the plot, I have an update! 👀

The workers have told me they still need to sort the sensors and paint the remaining road markings, and apparently, EVERYTHING SHOULD BE DONE BY TOMORROW AT 3PM. 🙏🏼

I’ll believe it when I see it now… but PLEASE let this be the final episode of Roadworks: The Never-Ending Story. 😭😂

We’re still here, making your coffee, matcha, cakes and all your favourites. We’re just trying to survive the traffic apocalypse while doing it.

If you’ve been avoiding the area because of the chaos, we completely understand. But if you can get to us, we’d absolutely LOVE to see you. Every visit means so much to our little independent business right now. 🥹❤️

I think you know us by now.. that we don’t go by the books, that we also bring a twist to the plate.. as that’s how the flavours satisfy better your taste buds.. when they’re not basic.. but carefully selected, trialled and plentiful.. this is what makes our coffee shop, our menu different.. that’s why our Benedict Eggs are just Special 😍 Have you tried our dish before?

If you really want a safe, properly cooked Gluten Free Full English breakfast, you just need to visit us🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t like to blow my own trumpet, but when as a coeliac myself I am trying to treat myself on my only day off and every time I leave disappointed or contaminated, and we still get every day people in saying that they just found us by chance.. oh well, this is no a business advert anymore, is an actual personal recommendation here. I am tired of being sick, tired of being told about their vegan cakes when I ask for gluten free ooor seeing the Booker GF cakes mixed up with the wheat ones on the same shelf! Tired to break my teeth in the bread or having tasteless food or barely any choice, and then not cooked right either !There you go.. I said it!
