Three Weeks Today!!!! We are having a slight change to our usual Gala format this year!! To utilise funding received from the Heritage Lottery, we are holding Cronton Music and Culture Festival on Saturday 5th September. We will be including some displays and attractions that celebrate local creativity and heritage. We will only have a small selection of stalls this year, but will have lots of music and entertainment for all the family to enjoy. More details in the flyer……hope you can join us there!

Woolton Street, Woolton, 1979 and 2026

The Coffee House in Woolton is a historic pub on Woolton Street that bears a date stone for 1641. While it carries this early build date, official records note it functioning as a public house by the mid-18th century.

1641: Date stone inscribed.
1754: First recorded in alehouse recognizances 1773: Recorded under the name "Lord Blakeney's Head".
1845: Officially renamed "The Coffee House,"
