🎃 TEN YEARS OF PUMPKIN FUN 🎃
This year we are celebrating our tenth year open to the public!!

‼️1st October is our opening day for 2026‼️

🎃Autumn is calling & pumpkin season is coming!!🎃

We’re counting down the days to our opening day here at The Pumpkin Patch Hightown!

We’ve become famous for our huge pumpkins, perfect pumpkins & fabulous varieties of pumpkins, squashes & gourds and we’re excited for this pumpkin season. Our pumpkins have been growing nicely & are looking well so we’ll be seeing a wonderful sea of orange again this year 🎃🎃

We will be open 9am til 6pm every single day from 1st October through to 31st October for pumpkin picking fun 🎃🧡🎃

⏰ Opening hours are 9am to 6pm daily.
🗓️ No booking required. Free entry.

🥾Please wear appropriate footwear - our pumpkins are grown where you find them, the fields can be uneven.
🎃Fab variety of orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, warty pumpkins, grey pumpkins, various squashes & decorative gourds
🎃Our pumpkins are all grown by us, they are a crop and are therefore fully edible - we encourage you to utilise a genuine and delicious food source.

(Please note that the postcode is for the whole road - please be mindful of our neighbours - we have big orange pumpkin bales and very obvious signs at our entrance on the corner off Moss Lane - we are by The Pheasant and the opposite end of Orrell Hill Lane to the Wild Roe and the traffic lights on the A565).

⏰ Open 7 days a week, 10:00am–5:00pm (last admission 4:00pm), until the sunflowers finish blooming

P.S. 🥾 Sensible footwear is recommended, as the field is quite dusty at the moment due to the hot, dry weather and our sandy soil. 👖 Long trousers are also advised for the straw bale play area and woodland.

🌿 The Sunflower Stroll is a natural environment, so please be aware of hazards such as uneven paths, nettles, prickly plants, biting insects and other natural obstacles. Children must be supervised at all times.

🌻 We always do our very best to create the most beautiful sunflower field possible. Even when Mother Nature throws us challenges such as drought, wind, storms, hungry wildlife, weeds or plant diseases, we do our best to respond with positivity and creativity. That’s farming, that’s nature, and it’s what makes every season unique! We enjoy the challenge…most of the time 🫣!! 🌻 Every year teaches us something new!!

Planning for topics and trips for September & October 2026 often starts early!

This year, we're able to visit local schools and talk about how pumpkins are grown, the pumpkin life cycle etc - in line with the curriculum at applicable KS and delivered by an educator with QTS.

The visits can be stand alone or go hand in hand with a school trip you may have planned to our pumpkin patch.

Farmer visits to local Primary Schools are free but limited in number.

We are now taking bookings for our Artisan Tent within The Pumpkin Patch Hightown for 2026.

We are an incredibly busy, popular family run pumpkin patch on the outskirts of Liverpool, next to the A565. We’re entering our 10th year open to the public and we’re expanding year on year.

We have a lovely atmosphere in our tent and our regular vendors are a lovely bunch. This year we’re inviting new businesses to add variety to contact us for a space in our Artisan Tent.

We host the Artisan Tent each weekend through October.

The Artisan Tent is open 10am to 5pm each weekend, setup at 8.30am.
Please provide your own table - approx 6ft wide.
Proof of your own PLI (and also hygiene certificates where applicable) is required on confirmation of slot.
Pitch fee is £60 for the full weekend or £35 per day.
