Off grid hottub 😍 it's only taken 3 years to complete 🤣
I bought a Welsh water 2000 litre drinking water bowser and cut the lid off. This gave me a 1800 litre tub which I converted into my hottub. I've connected it to my 1960s Rayburn Royal using copper pipes. The process is called 'thermal mass dump'. It takes 3 days to heat up to 40oC (104 fh). But, it only loses 0.5 oC in 24 hours without heat. All the pumps and filters run on 12 volts DC drawing 2 amps total.
