As the name implies, we are situated in 'Felinfoel', a small village on the outskirts of Llanelli. Historians tell us that originally our beer was brewed in the inn across the road from where the brewery was later built, but only during the winter months. The keeping qualities and the strength of the beers, therefore, were of prime importance and the popularity of ' Felinfoel Beer' led to the local inn brewing for other inns in the locality.

⚙️🍺 121 YEARS OLD AND STILL CRUSHING IT! 💪

They certainly don’t make them like this anymore! 👀

Meet our trusty malt mill, dating all the way back to 1905 and STILL hard at work here at Felinfoel Brewery! 🍻

This incredible piece of machinery has a very important job crushing the malted barley ready for the brewing process, helping us create the ales you all know and love! ❤️

No fancy modern technology here, just good old-fashioned engineering that’s stood the test of time!

121 years later and showing no signs of retiring! 😂👏

If only it could talk… imagine the stories it would tell!

We’re incredibly proud to have pieces of brewing history like this still working away behind the scenes. 🍺

This time we’ve been visiting Annie Pontyberem RFC, a fantastic community hub with plenty of history and local pride. 💙

Two local legends, nigelrefowens and jonnyclay180, each have a room celebrating their achievements from rugby’s biggest stages to the world of darts! 🏉🎯 The memorabilia is well worth a look when you pop in.

🍺 FELINFOEL FRIDAY SPOTLIGHT ON THE ROAD AGAIN! 🚚🐉

Last week I swapped the office for a trip out with the dray, visiting some of our lovely pubs! And where better to start than the furthest away! 😂

📍 The Welsh Black, Bow Street, Aberystwyth

What a beautiful little gem of a pub! 😍 It was lovely to catch up with Nathalie & Meical who really do make this place something special.

If you’re heading towards Aberystwyth and looking for somewhere to enjoy a delicious lunch or evening meal, make sure The Welsh Black is on your list! 🍽️

And if you fancy a Sunday lunch, BOOK EARLY! It’s incredibly popular, and it’s easy to see why! 😋

Not only are Nathalie & Miecal wonderful publicans, but Nathalie is also a very talented artist 🎨 You’ll find her beautiful artwork displayed throughout the pub, giving it that extra personal touch.

And with the colder nights creeping in, it won’t be long before the log burner is roaring away, keeping everyone lovely and toasty! 🔥🍂

🌿 HOPS GOING IN! 🍺

One of the best smells in the brewery! 🤩

The hops are going in, bringing that all important aroma, flavour and bitterness to the brew.
