Temporary Shop Assistant & Delivery Driver
Join our busy team for the peak season! We are looking for a versatile, energetic individual to help us provide the best fresh fruit, vegetables, and salad produce to our local community.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same—splitting your time between the shop floor and out on the road.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Morning Setup: Taking delivery of fresh stock, setting up vibrant displays.
Customer Service: Assisting customers with their selections, weighing items, and processing payments at the till.
Order Fulfilment: Preparing customer orders and answering the telephone to take enquiries.
On the Road: Delivering goods directly to our customers’ doors using one of our company vans.
Shop Maintenance: Replenishing stock throughout the day, general cleaning, and packing the shop down at the close of business.
What We’re Looking For:
Physically Fit: You’ll be on your feet and handling heavy crates of produce, so manual handling is a core part of the job.
Great Personality: A friendly, pleasant, and helpful attitude is essential for our customers.
Cool Under Pressure: You can stay organised and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible: You are available for various shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Driver Requirements: A valid driving licence to operate our delivery vans.
