A warm and welcoming cafe space in Llanidloes, encompassing community spaces, arts and creative activities and groups throughout the week. Dog friendly!

Our new interim menu is live! 🤍

With the days getting colder, we have made some changes to our menu!
Now, you can come and enjoy NEW hot toasties, Lentil bolognese, or Seafood thai curry.

Some things have remained on our menu, pop in to check it out!

Our winter menu is still in the planning stages - so new dishes will be available as we head further into autumn.

A super early start for the team but how amazing does Llani feel this morning! Great to see the town being shown off.

We’re hosting British Cycling for breakfast but the cafe will be open as soon as possible after the start of the race with our usual menu, tasty treats and friendly service.

The Hanging Gardens Cafe is excited to be hosting an event for British Cycling on Saturday as we welcome the start of stage 4 of the Lloyd’s Tour of Britain to the town.

As a result we will be opening slightly later than usual at 12pm; serving our usual lunches, cakes and drinks. We’re looking forward to seeing Llanidloes buzzing at the centre of a national event.

There’s something so comforting about carrot cake, maybe it’s because it’s one of your 5 a day (2 if you count the sultanas) in fact, the cream cheese icing must have a fair bit of protein too 😁 treat yourself!

Chloe is preparing our in-house mint tea blend, this morning she has collected the mint from our growing patch in the garden, processed it and it’s now drying ready to be used from tomorrow- you can’t get fresher than that!

Chloe is the newest member of the Hanging Gardens Cafe team, she joins us one day a week to build on the knowledge she gained during her catering course at Newtown College.

This morning Chloe has been in the kitchen making palm oil free chocolate spread!

The chocoholics treat; A buttery chocolate chip scone, homemade chocolate spread and a delicious hot chocolate!

The roof is finally being made waterproof on the Bethel Hall (of course it would be the first rain in weeks overnight after the contractor started stripping the old slates 🤭) the only safe access is via our garden, please follow the signs down to the right of the market hall and then turn left into our community garden space. The access into the rear of the building is level access via a ramp.
