A whisky worthy of the Hollywood spotlight. 🎥

In 1998, Ewan McGregor joined us to open our very first cask, the first legal dram on Arran in over 150 years.

Fast forward to 2025 and Ewan returned to the distillery to bottle that very same whisky, bringing the story full circle.

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, these memories remind us of the journey we’ve shared. A moment of pride, history and heritage.

A dram of our Quarter Cask and a moment of peace. ⛅

This full-bodied single malt is rich, complex and bursting with intense fruity notes. Bottled at cask strength, it’s initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels before being transferred to smaller Quarter Casks for secondary maturation. The 125 litre casks increase the whisky’s contact with the oak, creating a faster, deeper and more vibrant flavour profile.

Do you remember your first taste of Arran Single Malt? 🥃

Last year marked our 30th anniversary and we’re still taking time to reflect on the journey so far.

At our annual Whisky Festival in June, we spoke with our team and White Stag members about their earliest memories of Arran Single Malt. From seeing the distillery open its doors in 1996 to sharing a dram with family, the memories mean something different to everyone.

This is where the magic happens. 🪄

After fermentation, our whisky is double-distilled in copper pot stills and matured in oak casks that once held sherry, bourbon or other fine wines and spirits.

The result? Arran Single Malt’s bright, sweet and fruity character. Completely natural, with every drop of colour and flavour coming straight from the cask.
