Every cask has a story.

On 15 August 1995, we filled our very first cask. To celebrate 30 years of Arran whisky, we filled just 30 exclusive Palo Cortado casks, giving whisky lovers the rare opportunity to lay down their own piece of Arran’s story.

One year into maturation, the spirit is already beginning to develop its character, with just two more years until it can officially become whisky. 🥃

We're proud to introduce our latest 12 Year Old Private Cask: an exceptional first fill ex-Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead. 🥃

Carefully selected by our Distillery Manager, this exceptional bottling has developed a rich depth of character and complexity through its time in cask. Rich notes of creamy toffee, dried fruit and orange peel are followed by a beautifully warming finish of cinnamon-spiced apples and lingering sweetness.

A fitting tribute to the extraordinary influence of an exceptional Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
