This week we had metal workers here to install our steel edging around the edge of the turning area and driveway island. We are using Cotswold gravel as it will go well with our black barn conversion. Our plan is to plant jacqumontii birch and some others on an earth mound. We plan on mulching with bark rather than having grass. The red ducting was installed during our build so we can easily install an electric supply for some up lights.

This weekend we hired a ride on rough cutter to tackle some of the long grass around the driveway and Orchard.

We had a lovely sunny Sunday planting some new water trough’s as planters for our terrace. We decided on galvanised water troughs as we feel they go well with our modern agricultural barn conversion. These are 4ft ones and frame the terrace nicely.
