After a much needed refurbishment we got our “Titcote” installed in its new position among the Rhododendrons, we will hopefully get a variety of small garden birds nesting in it next spring like we had at our previous home.

We got a couple of Acers into some bigger pots which are the first plants to go into our small courtyard garden.

We got our driveway island finished today, we planted seven trees. Four jaquemontii birch, one snow queen birch , one Mountain Ash and a White Beam in the centre. We used fairly sturdy posts with the tree ties then mulched with bark from our local sawmill. We used a surprising amount ( a level single axel tractor trailer) .
