Pizza My Heart, wood fired pizzas Pizza my heart is a mobile catering service. Cooking wood fired pizzas in a converted horse trailer. In August 2015, we were on our family holiday in Cornwall.

With 2 children in tow,cooking in a caravan can be testing at the best of times. So, when my wife said " don't cook tonight, we are having pizza" I was intrigued. We went to investigate, what we saw was quite simply, two guys in a horse trailer producing wood fired pizzas (Light bulb moment). From that moment the idea has consumed me, its all I talked about and still do (sorry Biz x). In October w

e purchased our very own Rice horse trailer, after lots of research, we bid and won it on EBAY! It was a mess, holes in the roof, leaking, rotten floor and hay everywhere! I remember painting the outside of the trailer in the cold and rain, ripping up the soggy floor and all those jobs nobody ever sees. As time passed into 2016, we applied and received our our business loan, to get us started. To get the trailer up to standard meant it was a total strip down and rebuild.New paint, new floor, kitchen units, worktops & sink to create a fully functioning catering unit. Then we decided to purchase our fantastic Igneus oven (thanks Mama x), its capable of reaching 500 degrees C, cooking pizzas in less than 2 minutes. Once everything was set up, we worked very hard, with lots of help to secure our first few bookings. With word of mouth and lots of emails, we had our first few events. In August 2016, we attended a fun day, 2 weddings and a local festival.. Everyone seems to love the look, although some thought we were delivering Shetland ponies! We are so lucky to have had so much help & support from family and friends alike, forever in your debt (or free pizzas). So the story continues, in September 2016 we have a wedding exhibition, mini festival and food festival coming our way. October another wedding exhibition, we are already taking bookings for 2017.

A belated happy new year to everyone! We just reached 200 like, amazing, thanks for all who supported us last year, lots of wedding already booked up for this year. Just wanted to say a big thanks, to all who supported us at Cheddar festive night. This was our first time trading at this event, we were busy throughout the evening, with a constant flow of orders. Hi, we are having some time away from pizzas, in preparation for the birth of our third child. So, our next event will be the Cheddar festive night on the 2/12. As you can see, we are closing in on 200 likes, which is amazing! If we make it to this number before the 2/12, we will give away a free pizza @ this event. Please support this event, we were due to trade here, but baby No 3 is coming out to play.

We are holding our Christmas Fair on Saturday 19th November, 2-5pm at the Bay Centre, with a variety of stalls, grab some beautiful Christmas gifts, bring the children along to see Santa for only £3 with a gift included, glitter tattoos, and enjoy homemade cakes and a cuppa!!!
