The Homestead Shed - Loddon

IMPORTANT *Closed now for AUGUST*

Good morning everyone. We had planned to open today but after a very quiet Saturday we expect there to be very little footfall today.

We have been thinking about how to manage variations in expected trade through the holiday season and also how to commit to that, given our own holidays and plans (and the momentus task of keeping up with the demands of our hobby homestead during peak season).

We've decided to CLOSE FOR AUGUST and reopen in September, once we have had time to process our harvests and turn them into delicious preserves 😊

Its also important for my daughter to have some summer holiday during her break from school. She has worked tirelessly with lots of late nights and very early mornings for many months (and long before we opened the shed where we had already been sharing with friends and family).

So our attention is turning to the crops and catching up on some rest in between all the harvesting and preserving...and hopefully having a bit more weekend family time which is so so needed right now.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support out little hobby homestead.

And thank you for your understanding.

We will see you the other side of the school holidays.

After lots and lots of travelling and late nights we are running behind on our usual schedule this morning.

We will be open by 11am today u til 8pm and then usual hours 8am-8pm Sat & Sun.

What started as a quiet Friday morning turned into a completely sellout day!
Thanks to everyone who came and visited. We hope you enjoyed your produce!
After thr midday "live", I couldn't restock quick enough 🤣
