Throwback to Monday last week with the first Be Inclusive Hospitality Community event for 2026. It was my pleasure to host a panel on careers in Hospitality.
“Hospitality Careers” aren’t just about the kitchen or the floor—they are about Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operational Management.
As a host, my goal was to bridge the gap between the professional accolades we see on LinkedIn and the raw, authentic stories that built these careers.
💛We had a powerhouse trio:
Nithiya Gunasekharan, a learning and development professional
Jade Mackenzie an expert in luxury operations and brand standards
Newton Fernandes, a Digital, Brand & Loyalty Marketing Strategist.
💛This was an inspiring conversation of resilience, productivity hacks (10 min of silence) and proactiveness as well as ideas on pitching for commercial success, self-advocacy, and being comfortable in your skin and paving the way forward!
💛 I also heard from many in the audience on how relevant, important, inspiring these perspectives of the panelists and that the panelists’ experiences resonated with many!
