Another activity date ticked off the list with 🧶 We’ve been wanting to try tufting class for AGES and we absolutely loved it 💃🏾

This was perfect because it was only us, so it was really intimate and it’s always fun to get creative together! When we’re looking for a some date night inspo, or we want to try something different, we always go back to ClassBento because their website has soooo many options for different activity dates, whether you want to do a cooking class, jewellery making, or tufting, like us. There’s always something… and not even just for date nights- my mum and I did a Christmas decorating class last year.. so as the festive season is coming up, keep a look out for what I’ve got under my sleeve next!! 👀✨

As you know, I’ve been getting facials and treatments with .spa for a couple of years now 🧖🏾‍♀️

In my 4 week/ 1 month rotation of microneedling facials, this was my fourth session. Painful this time! However, my results following this one were by far the best results, which was what I wanted. Short term pain, long term gain and alla that 🤪

I strongly recommend it here because they really know what they’re doing and it’s very homely. Also, Ayshia is literally a skincare guru- anything I ask her for help or advice on to do with my skin, hormones, stress, self-care, ANYTHING, she always gives me incredible advice.

They also specialise in melanated skin so I trust them more because they’re so experienced with different people from different places and skin tones! 💁🏾‍♀️

They’re based in Streatham, so you can park around the corner for free- although I do have minimal redness here compared to other places where I’ve done microneedling, thank God!!

If you can get a table at Juliets Quality Foods you’ll be in for the treat of your life ✨

I first visited Juliet’s some years ago now. I love how crafty their menu is and how airy and light the space is. It’s much easier to get a table on a weekday because the weekend queues are serious!

I ordered:
- Grilled Boudin Blanc Bagel (Boudin Blanc, Crispy Hash Brown & our set Egg Custard Stuffed in our Montreal Style Sesame & Fennel Bagel topped with Juliet’s Hangover Sauce & Freshly Grated Lincolnshire Poacher)
- Poacher Hash (Crispy dinerstyle hash browns and cave aged Lincolnshire poacher cheese)
- Piccolo ☕️

I didn’t leave a crumb 😮‍💨

They also sell mini banana bread loaves, juices, honey, homemade granola and more, that you can take away!

I bought some Norwood local honey to take home. You know I love my local honey 🐝

There’s something about a cinnamon roll and a coffee on a Sunday morning that just does something for me 🧡

Weekends call for brunch! So, it’s time to try ✨

With branches in Balham and Streatham, they’ve been on my list for some months now!!

We ordered:
- Dear Jay Big Breakfast (Fried Burford Brown eggs, smoked streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage patty, house-made beans, slow-roasted vine tomatoes, jalapeño, feta and spring onion hash brown, sourdough.)
- Short Rib Grilled Toastie (Cooked short rib, jalapeño relish, mozzarella and Monterey Jack toastie. French dip)
- Cornmeal Porridge (Fine cornmeal, spiced coconut milk, poached fruit, almond butter, toasted seeds and nuts.)
- Banana Bread
- Mocha
- Cappuccino

We’d definitely come back. There’s so much more of the menu that we’d like to explore too. With the Dear Jay Big Breakfast, I just loved how they put their spin on everything. It was exactly what I needed 😍 the coffee was really good too.

The cornmeal in itself, we really loved. With the walnuts too. Although I did like the concept and creativity of the peanut butter and jam, I think it would work better with oats! Just my opinion though.

Next stop, the Streatham branch!!

Let me set the scene… Nigerian husband, Jamaican wife & a tasty and delicious Crave Kitchen.

Ngl, I was sceptical! But this might just be the best Nigerian and Jamaican fusion restaurant we’ve tried😮‍💨 in terms of traditional dishes, for sure!

We were really excited to try the cornmeal porridge 🇯🇲 It was topped with jam, peanut butter and walnuts.

Warm, buttery banana bread and look at the bunny on my cappuccino 🥺☕️

Homemade beans, sausage patty AND hashbrowns? Sold!

Literally travelled 200 miles for 24 hours because I just needed to see my mum 💖

Dream lunch at San Carlo Restaurants in Leeds. The Tiramisu was sooooo gorgeous wow. So creamy and perfectly balanced. The prawns were unbelievably juicy and served in the tastiest sauce too. The staff here was so lovely and attentive as well, we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Super cosy for a date night or a girls/ friends night out. I love that they switch up the menu frequently! The last time I went, the highlighted spirit on the menu was .official and this time its
